Figen Murray has called for a new law makes it to judge mandatory for any location, The Risk of a terrorist attack,

The Mother of Martyn Hett, who died in the terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena , has been called on to make places, a new law to ensure the safety of fans at concerts and other large events.

Figen Murray is lobbying the government to new security measures, since her son's death in the year 2017.

The Home Office has said it Will now consult "Martyn to demand the right" Venues to prepare for any terrorist risks.

Ms Murray said the "common-sense Step . Will save lives in The Future ".

"today's consultation is the beginning of all of us, which is a bit safer," said Ms. Murray, you are urged to engage businesses and The Public .

Ms Murray are at the forefront of The Campaign for the introduction of Martyn right, the addiction to the requirements of measures such as airport-style security checks including bag and metal detectors - in the case of large public institutions. They started

She Said : "Public places are already all sorts of obligations for fire protection-health and safety - But Until Now , it has no duty to protect their customers.

"Martyn law Will change this. It is a sensible Step that Will save lives in The Future . "

Martyn Hett was killed 22 people in the Manchester Arena to attack, when Salman Abedi blew himself up at the end of the Ariana Grande concert, leaving hundreds more injured.

A Coronation Street superfan, the 29-year-old at his funeral, many members of the soap took cast and.

Since the 2017 attack, backpacks and large bags have been banned from the great concert halls, But there is no legislation that the security checks at all public places.

'Relatively' law

Among the proposals of the government, the would Parliament to pass a new law that a legal obligation would impose on anyone who is responsible for the management of public spaces.

The new law would require owners and operators to consider The Risk of an attack, and the plans that you have to either prevent it Happening or to manage The Aftermath .

The duty could verify obligations and to improve not only the physical security of a location, But also how well the employees are trained in dealing with an incident.

Final plans made for a consultation in the spring and Ms Murray, your request to the venue owner and companies that put on large events, their role in this process.

security Minister James Brokenshire said: "We are in complete agreement with activists such as Figen Murray on the importance of premises and public areas, with effective and adequate protection of the safety and precautionary measures keep people safe.

"of course, it is important that this new law is proportionate. This public consultation so that we can a law that, for the protection of The Public , while not putting excessive pressure on the company. "

Martyn Hett was killed 22 people in the Manchester Arena attack the 22 may 2017, How far-reaching the new law Will be?

This announcement follows The Conviction Last Friday of a woman who wanted a Cathedral to a bomb in St Paul's and blow it up.

Safiyah Shaikh recorded, the symbol of the security arrangements - a classic example of how would-be prepare for attackers.

this case reveals a threat, the prepare at the extreme end of The Spectrum - But as to the other public rooms, if the behavior can be to stop the needs of very difficult to detect or predict?

The proposed new legal duty is a balancing act - work out what would be appropriate in relation to The Risk of an attack.

The O2 Arena in London, for example, measures a massive security, including measures to prevent vehicle attacks.

But while a pub is not the same level of security, The Landlady would benefit from thinking about how they protect their customers in the midst of an attack from the outside - as in the case of the Borough Market in 2017.

So supporters of The Law say The Goal is scalability - to ensure that all companies are gathering in which The Public as to the risks, But , like you pass already for fire, so that you know to react, like, the worst were to.

consider The forthcoming study is expected in Manchester attack, as The Arena was prepared for such an Event .

as part of the licensing rules for clubs, and Venues .

Last November, The Coroner at the inquests for The Eight victims of the 2017 London Bridge attack, the government is urged to consider, to protect a statutory duty, after hearing the evidence for missed opportunities to better the area.

The Shadow security minister, Nick Thomas-Symonds paid tribute to the activists behind Martyn law, But said the government needed to reverse cuts to the police.

"It may be, to protect no objection to a proper consultation on the duty, and we pay tribute to those who change for this.

"Yet, a duty to protect is not a substitute for professional police work. The fight against The Terrorists everything required of community policing by the war on terrorism. "
