Brexit: to press, Johnson vows, in spite of the defeat on the supply delay

Feb 16,2020 7:18 am

Boris Johnson has said he will press on "fearless" with a British EU exit on the 31 October, in spite of losing a crunch Commons vote.

The watch will need to now the EU is calling for an extension of this period a change to the MPs has secured the judgment of a non-offer of Brexit , by 322 votes to 306.

Mr Johnson, President of the European Council, Donald Tusk , that he send a letter, told of The Delay searches.

Under the terms of the so-called Benn Act, passed last month by MPs, he has to send to 2300 BST on Saturday.

the talks With Mr Johnson at BST 1915, EU Council President Donald Tusk tweeted that he was "waiting for The Letter ."

One EU source said that, as soon as Mr Tusk received The Letter , he would start consulting the EU heads of state and government, how they respond - this may take a couple of days, BBC Brussels reporter Adam Fleming reported.

Mr Johnson has promised to implement to bring in the legislation on Monday, The Deal he struck with Brussels This Week .

MPs could then vote on The Deal , if Commons Speaker John Bercow allowed it.

The Commons , the defeat is a major setback for the PM, who has repeatedly insisted that the UK will leave, at the end of the month, come what may.

Mr Johnson told The Commons , he was not "discouraged or dismayed" by the defeat, and remained under great Britain takes until the end of the month on the basis of his "excellent offer".

In a letter to MPs and peers on Saturday night, he warned the EU rejects the "Parliament's request for further delays".

He wrote: "It is quite possible that our friends in the European Union rejects the request of the Parliament for the additional delay (or not to take a quick decision). "

He added that it was to his "great regret" that the members voted for further delay, and that he "will not negotiate a delay".

"I said say the EU is to what I have said, that The British public for my 88 days as Prime Minister : more delays is not a solution," he said.

But head of the Labour party Jeremy Corbyn said: "The Prime Minister must now comply with The Law . He can no longer bring down the risk of a no-deal to the members for the support of his sell-out deal. "

And the SNP leader in Westminster, Ian Blackford , said that if Mr did Johnson, As If he was "above The Law ", he would find himself in court.

in Downing Street, offer no explanation of why the Prime Minister did not think of, he was forced to negotiate a fresh extension.

The EU said, it was to inform up to the UK "you on the next steps".

the French President Emmanuel Macron spoke to Mr Johnson by telephone after his Commons defeat, told him of a delay Brexit "would be for anyone of interest," according to a French official.

MPs had been prepared for a make-or-break vote on Mr. Johnson's " Brexit offer, on The First Saturday sitting of Parliament since the Falklands War 37 years ago.

But in the end there was no vote on whether The Deal or not.

the deputies voted for an amendment tabled by the former Conservative Deputy Sir Oliver Letwin , withholding approval of The Deal until The Law on implementation is available.

the Minister will argue that this delay would Escape, But Sir Oliver and his supporters to back The Deal , saying it is a kind of insurance, in order to prevent it in a no-deal to leave.

The main government, which was adopted in the motion, as amended, without a vote, the importance of the Benn Action occurs and the Prime Minister must month a request for a three-extension.

A second government, the Escape movement, a no-deal, has not been drawn, i.e., a change in a second referendum to vote either.

voice of the People , the protesters marched on Westminster to demand a 'last word'

The vote took place, as thousands of anti-British EU-exit, the protesters marched on Westminster.

Many, when they learned of Mr. Johnson the defeat, and the crowds were later resolved by the celebrities Remain the support of MPs, including Dominic Grieve and Hilary Benn .

Footage posted on Social Media showed the Conservative Minister Jacob Rees-Mogg and Andrea Leadsom will escort fallen into the word through the voice of the People , the protesters, as they went to Parliament, under the police.

The EU is not rushing to take measures, in accordance with this vote.

as far as it concerns him, he has negotiated a new British EU exit offer, as required by the UK government, and now it is up to you to sell that to the government, the offer.

There is zero appetite in the EU to renegotiate The Deal , and if the EU receives a request for a new Brexit extension, do not expect a rush to the EU to grant.

In order to approve or discuss a new extension, all EU politicians should back to Brussels, they left less than 24 hours.

The EU Commission is now waiting to hear from Boris Johnson about what has changed, because he promised you on The Summit just 24 hours, the new British EU-would have voted no outlet for this deal, in the Parliament, and the approval by the majority of members.

When It Comes to the crunch, I can't see the EU politicians to say no to a further request for an extension, if The Alternative would be a no-deal Brexit , the wanted you have to avoid so much.

But now this is all to unfold in the coming days.

Sir, Oliver Letwin , said on Saturday Commons vote meant the UK would not "crash out" of the EU on the 31. October without a deal, if the necessary legal provisions or derailed.

He insisted, his goal was not to stop, the United Kingdom leaving, and he'd for the tuning of the legislation to enable, if It Comes forward.

His movement was supported by 10 former Tory MPs, who forced to either leave, or have been, from The Party on Brexit , including Philip Hammond , David Gauke , and Amber Rudd .

But , six Labour MPs voted against the amendment, as well as five former Labour party members who now sit as independents said the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg , would the PM hope, of the passing of his Agreement the next time.

The democratic unionists, said behind-the-Letwin change, that The Delay would allow the Kingdom for a further review of the PM Agreement -with the emphasis that direct its support to the preservation of the "constitutional and economic" integrity of the KING.

But Brexiteers responded with anger, Tory MP Peter Bone said it was "a complete waste of time".

And the European Commission spokeswoman said it took the voice.
