At the time, Ahmed, his parents and sisters lived in Kulajo, a remote village of about 110 people, who were all part of the same family.

"It was difficult to find our village," Ahmed, the BBC says. But he says that Kurds, who were in cooperation with Hussein's regime in Iraq and directed forces there in April 1988.

The Villagers were rounded up and to a military camp, where The Men were separated from women and children. This was The Last Ahmed of his Father .

Ahmed's Father , Abdulla Ahmed, worked in agriculture, like most of his compatriots,

A month later, Ahmed and The Others were herded onto trucks and much further to the South.

He survived by a miracle and The Dead played until The Soldiers left. He managed to Get Out from under the body and fled into The Night .

He finally came to The Tent of a Bedouin family that sought after him. He remained with them for three years, until it is in contact with one of his few surviving relatives, and moved back to the North, where he can hide and still had to by The Authorities .

In 2009, after the fall of Saddam Hussein , Ahmed returned to Iraq and found The Massacre site.

"When I saw The Graves , I was shaking. I cried," he says.

"I was contacted by the Iraqi government and told them that I needed to be informed of a decision about The Graves . "

But in June of this year, they started to dig, so this without any notification from him. They plan to rebury the bodies in the Kurdish region.

When Ahmed heard from friends about what had happened, he flew back from the US.

He is now in a stand-off with The Authorities and legal measures taken to prevent them from digging up The Grave , which he believes contains the bodies of his mother and his Two Sisters .

He says to do only if you agree, The Work should be neat and "respectful" and meet other requirements, such as those responsible for The Massacre before the court, the exhumations.

He also wants the massacres to the attention of The World . "I want the cameras clutching to zoom in on the bodies of the innocent children, their mothers, right before the shot," he says.

"I didn't even have a picture of My Mother and sisters. I would like to remain a picture with her," he adds.

Iraqi officials say it is up to the Kurdish authorities to contact the families of The Victims .

Fawd Osman Taha, a spokesman for the Kurdish regional government, says, to check The Remains and marks of identification prior to the contact with relatives.

"We collect the evidence and send it to the special court responsible for the prosecution of those who are guilty," adds Mr Taha.

Ahmed plans to stay in the vicinity of the point until his demands are met.
