Atwood is fighting back with The NS-Propaganda, their highly anticipated follow-up to The story of the servant, while Sir Salman makes The Cut with Quixote.

Bernardine Evaristo , Chigozie Obioma , Elif Shafak, and the US author Lucy Ellmann are also available for the price.

Both Atwood and Rushdie won the coveted award in the years 2000 and 1981 respectively.

Atwood is also in The Shortlist with The story of the servant in 1986.
