Boris Johnson: Brexit plan "a genuine attempt to bridge the abyss'
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he has a "genuine attempt to bridge the "gap", a fresh Brexit deal with the EU.
The MPs said his Plan - which would see Northern Ireland stay in the European single market for goods, however, the customs Union , are a "compromise".
But Jeremy Corbyn , criticized the "unrealistic and harmful Proposals ".
Irish PM Leo Varadkar said the new plans were welcome but "too short, in A Number of aspects".
the Outgoing President of the European Council , Donald Tusk , the EU was "open, but not yet convinced" about The Plan , and would stand "fully behind Ireland".
The European Commission said it was problematic points "in the British proposal, and" other works were "necessary".
And the most important Brexit-focused group in the European Parliament , said the plans "in their current form, represent" a deal could ratify the members.
"The Proposals don't go on The Real problems that must be solved if the backstop is removed," The Group added.
But said the Swedish Prime Minister , Stefan Lofven , despite the "question mark" about the Proposals , they represent a "good start for negotiations".
The EU's chief Brexit negotiation the leader, Michel Barnier , has said he is in a better position to assess possible future negotiations with the British, as soon as he has spoken to his British counterpart, David Frost .
The British government hopes to be the beginning of a Phase of intensive negotiations aimed at reaching a final Agreement at the EU summit on 17. October.
The Prime Minister said the UK has left the EU on 31 October, with or without a deal.
Commons appearanceIn The Commons , Mr Johnson appealed to the deputies to support his Brexit Plan - a change in the sound, seen from the stormy scene in Parliament last week, as a BBC political correspondent Nick Eardley pointed out:
"is moved to This government, our Proposals represent a compromise and I hope that The House can now come together in The National interest, the said behind this new offer," Mr Johnson said.
His proposal aims to replace the Irish cross-border "backstop" in the existing repurchase Agreement - which was rejected Three Times by the MPs.
The backstop is the controversial "insurance", which meant to keep a free-flowing border on The Island of Ireland, but critics - including the PM - afraid of time could trap the UK in the EU trade for an indefinite period. It proved to be a sticking point in the negotiations.
"I think this is our chance, and a chance to get an offer," said Mr. Johnson, the MPs said. But he said the Two Sides were "some of the way to a solution".
Mr Johnson added that The Plan would mean there were no controls or infrastructure in or in the vicinity of The Border between Ireland and Northern Ireland .
However, the Labour leader, Mr Corbyn said: "The current Proposals would damage the whole British economy, the Northern Irish economy and, above all, would undermine the Good Friday Agreement . "
He said that the Proposals "reject every form of the customs Union , which requires something of each of the companies and industry bodies in the UK and every trade Union ".
"do you want standards to dig out of the EU standards for the rights of workers, regulations, and consumer and engage in a "race to the bottom," he said.
The SNP's Westminster leader, Ian Blackford said the clock is "never the consent of Scotland" for its Brexit offer, says Mr Johnson, "not the reality of a functioning protection mechanism to understand".
"It's a half-baked Plan (Prime Minister 's Advisor), Dominic Cummings and the UK to exit the EU-fanatics," Mr Blackford said.
"is The planned business dead before it left The Podium at the Tory conference. "
What's The Plan ?Under Mr. Johnson's Proposals , which he has a "wide zone" calls for a New Deal with the EU:
The government of a "New Deal for Northern Ireland promises" to help with financial obligations, the management of changes.
Lib dem leader Jo Swinson said there was "real anxiety" about his Proposals to the Northern Irish border.
She Said his Plan "was convicted because he asks the worst of Both Worlds ,": "Will the Prime Minister now on the Northern Irish border and listen to the people and communities there, or he didn't care?"
Conservative MPs expressed their support for the Proposals .
Brexiteer Sir Bill Cash welcomed The Plan and the "signs of Progress in these negotiations".
Tory MP Steven Crabb praised Mr. Johnson on the "serious intention and effort that it takes," he said, "to prove many of his doubters wrong".
He said the "constructive tone" of Mr Johnson "is in stark contrast to the opposition, [which] put your face against your own voters".
But the Proposals need the approval of the EU, in order to Progress .
the European Commission spokesman said on Thursday: "There is, as we have said, problematic points in the British proposal, and further work is necessary, but that the work needs to be done to the UK and not The Other way around.
"We want to remind you that it will leave the UK the EU and not the EU leaving the UK.
"And we do everything in our power to ensure that the exit is an ordered basis, and we are ready to work constructively with our counter-parts, but we are not The Ones left holding the bag, The Ball or any other kind of object. "
The Proposal was welcomed by the DUP but other Political Parties in Northern Ireland and business groups have rejected.
Irish PM Leo Varadkar said he did not understand, such as the need for fare checks could be avoided if Northern Ireland leaves the EU customs Union .
as well as concerns about the need for the tests, and also out of the question, Mr. Johnson's Plan , the Northern Ireland Assembly, a vote on entering into a "regulatory zone" with the EU.
He said the views should be represented on the "entire population of Northern Ireland ", and none of party a "right of veto" over the idea of should.
Ireland's Deputy PM, Simon Coveney , said Boris Johnson , the offer "if The Final proposal, there is no offer".
His comments were met with anger from the Democratic Unionist Party , which she described as "quite outrageous".
the DUP leader, Arlene Foster called for The Other EU heads of government to "rule over the Irish government," and added that, if the British Proposals were rejected, and that led to a no-offer Brexit ", the Irish Prime Minister is responsible".
she added: "He will go down in history as The Man who led a hard limit on The Island of Ireland".
Guy Verhofstadt , Chairman of the European Parliament , the UK's EU-exit steering committee, said the BBC, Katya Adler , that the Parliament was "very sceptical" of Mr Johnson's Plan and said there was "no serious alternative" to the attack, but a "repackaging of old Proposals ".
