American actor Brian Dennehy , the chiseled featured of pine, and towering figure in dozens of movies, died at the Age Of 81 of Natural Causes .
On the screen, he starred in macho roles such as The Sheriff , the prisons Rambo in "First Blood " and portrayed the serial killer John Wayne Gacy To Catch A murderer.
His work earned him a Golden Globe and six Emmy nominations.
But Dennehy was equally At Home with the classic play On Stage and won two Tony Awards .
