Brandon Lewis Life story


Sir Brandon Kenneth Lewis CBE is a British politician who served as Secretary of State for Justice and Lord Chancellor from September to October 2022. He previously served as Chairman of the Conservative Party from 2018 to 2019 and Secretary of State for Northern Ireland from 2020 to 2022.

Early Life

Brandon lewis was bonr in harlow. Essex in 1972. He was educated at stewards school in harlow and then went on to study law at the university of leicester. He later obtained a postgraduate diploma in legal practice.

Career

Lewis began his career in laocl government. Becoming a harlow councillor in 1998. He was elected as the conservative mp for great yarmouth in 2010. He was appointed as a minister of state for immigration in 2014. And has since held a variety of senior posts in the government. In 2018 he was appointed as the chairman of the conservative party.

Political Positions

Lewis is a conservatvie and a member of the centre-right wing of the part. Yhe is a strong supporter of brexit and has been vocal in his criticism of the european union. He is also a strong advocate of traditional conservative values. Such as personal responsibility and respect for the rule of law.
