the Pakistani authorities dismissed the accusations, saying their claims of torture were "not plausible".

Who Asia Bibi is?

Ms Bibi spoke with the BBC during a visit to France, where they are promoting their new book.

she recalled how in the year 2009, a long-standing dispute with neighbors culminated in a group of local women, accusing them of insulting The Prophet Muhammad.

"My husband was gone was at work, my children were in school, I have to pick the fruit in The Orchard ," She Said . "A mob came and moved off me. They made fun of me, I was very helpless. "

In her book, Mrs Bibi told how they feared for their lives in The Prison with other inmates cried out for her to be hanged. They also remembered the ill-treatment at the hands of prison guards.

"I can't breathe," she writes. "My neck is pressed into the can by a neck-brace, tighten The Guard as he wants with a large key. A long chain drags on the dirty floor; my neck connects on The Guard , the handcuffs, dragging me like a dog. "

Ms Bibi told the BBC that her Christian faith helped her through The Ordeal .

"you said, change your faith, and you will be freed. But I said no. I'm going to live with my sentence. With my faith," She Said .

"I found out from my husband that the whole world was praying for me. And that even the Pope had prayed for me. That made me happy. And I found out, was to pray for the whole world to stop for my misery.

"This gave me the feeling that their prayers would definitely free me. "

Ms Bibi called to free on Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan , someone wrongly accused or convicted of blasphemy, and to ensure that the charges are properly investigated.

"the Innocent should not be punished, for no reason, and the people who should be innocent are in prison, freed," She Said .

"During The Investigation , which should be provided to both parties in question, right, because there are a lot of problems in our investigation procedure. And it is hard to tell who's on whose side. "

Despite her ordeal, Ms Bibi said she still felt positively about Pakistan, and hoped to return there One Day .

"It was My Country that liberated me. That makes me proud," She Said .

"I left of My Own will because I was in danger there. Everything that could happen to me, at any point. So, why did I leave My Country . But I have the same love for My Country in my heart now. I still respect My Country and I want to go to see The Day when I am able to. "
