However, Diplomatic Immunity also extends to civil matters.

Prof Craig Barker, dean of The School of Law and Social Sciences at London South Bank University, said the couple "could the activities in the United States".

He explained that the Diplomatic Immunity for civil cases extends only to the "receiving state", in this case the UK.

But the Prof Barker said The Family "would have had to find to accept a court in the United States, the case", he said, would be expensive and, given the US attitude can be difficult.

He also said there is a claim against the U.S. government in the UK, but also in a case such as the one that was never tested before the court could.

"As a young man, the person was killed, driving the car, the Diplomatic Immunity , we are going to talk with her and her very short, and see if we can Do Something where they meet. "

Speaking in Northampton on Thursday, the head of the Labour party, Jeremy Corbyn , Mr Trump's said the comments were "crass and insensitive".
