The PlayStation 5 has finally broken cover in all its curvy glory.

Not everyone. But for many consumers, it's The Games that count rather than the aesthetics of The Box .

Each new console is to navigate a Hard Time , the difficult economic waters that lie ahead of us, but Sony is reluctant to tell us how much your next machine does not cost the consumer help find out if you can afford it.

Can you tell us a little bit about the PS5 design, because at first glance it looks more like something you section in the furniture of a business rather than consumer-electronics-zone?

The PlayStation is in The Living area of most homes, and we felt it would be nice to offer a design that really grace most of The Living areas. This is what we have to do is trying. And, you know, we think we have been successful.

We think that 3D-audio " is a paradigm shift. We think that the functionality of the new control system, which must always be experienced to be fully appreciated, is a paradigm shift. We think that the SSD [solid state drive] storage mechanism, and The Way it can really help you move Between Worlds in The Games and eliminate load times is a paradigm shift.

you know, we went to great lengths to show that they are of considerable length in The Ratchet and Clank demo. You saw The Way that Ratchet was moving from world to world. In previous generations, the character needed to was walk down a corridor while loading in the background. Now, it just happens immediately.

I know the earlier generations tend to have better graphics, you know, more grunt in the CPU [central processing unit]. But we think that we have A Number of features to enhance the sensory experience of The Game , and allow developers to make really cool and different things.

It was a really eclectic mix of games in the presentation - great PlayStation franchises, but also quite a lot of stuff from smaller studios, what seems to be a rather unusual decision for the first gameplay reveal for a new console.

We wanted to with the triple-A games that fully demonstrate the performance of The Machine . But some of these smaller games are very cool and innovative use of the new features of the console. So allow us to give The Show a glimpse into The Sheer range of gameplay experience, available for the PlayStation 5. And this is only the beginning. There are so many games we have in development.

The Box itself comes in two different flavors, a digital-only version, And One with a CD drive. Is it difference for a significant price?

You're not going to hear anything about the price of today. But many of our many of our consumers buy exclusively Digital These Days . We thought that we would do what we usually try and do, and only offer the choice.
