Woman Against Woman

After enduring years of domination by his wife, Cynthia (Mary Astor), attorney Stephen Holland (Herbert Marshall) leaves her. However, unwilling to surrender full custody of their young daughter, Ellen (Juanita Quigley), Stephen allows Cynthia to convince him that it's only for a brief period. Not long afterward, Stephen meets, falls in love with and marries Maris Kent (Virginia Bruce). Cynthia then begins a cunning campaign to ruin the marriage, using Stephen's mother and Ellen against him.
