Under the Skin of the City

Tuba (Golab Adineh), an Iranian textile worker, tries to raise a family without help from her disabled husband, Mahmoud (Mohsen Ghazi Moradi), who schemes with their eldest son, Abbas (Mohammad Reza Forutan), to sell their house to raise money. Their younger son, Ali (Ebrahin Sheibani), is a student activist frequently in trouble with the authorities, while their daughter Hamideh (Homeira Riazi) is abused by her husband.
