Just before a press blitz aimed at highlighting the Mexican government's anti-poverty stance, homeless Juan Pérez (Damián Alcázar) finds himself in a federal banking office. Juan simply wandered into the building in search of a place to sleep, but, when the country's top economic policy maker (Antonio Serrano) learns of the situation, he interprets it as a political protest.
