Scheming to steal Bill Ryan's (Kermit Maynard) cattle to pay a debt, his half-brother, Brad Barton (Bob Duncan), has his men shoot the rancher. With Bill left for dead, Brad and corrupt lawyer Alton Small (Ted Adams) produce a forged will that disinherits Bill's teenage daughter, Robin (Shirley Patterson), and son Freckles (Johnny McGovern).
