When George Ward (Ralph Graves), the manager of a traveling circus, learns of a ranch sitting on valuable real estate left to his boss, Nancy Evans (Carole Landis), he attempts to force her to sell it to him cheaply by manufacturing a series of accidents to bankrupt the business.
