The Strawberry Roan

Ranch foreman Gene Autry (Gene Autry) brings Walt Bailey (Jack Holt) a strawberry roan. Walt wants his son, Joe (Dick Jones), to break the wild stallion, but Joe is inexperienced and can't handle the horse. He is thrown, trampled and disabled as a result. Walt tries to kill the horse, but it runs off. Joe, now using a wheelchair, becomes depressed. Gene goes after the horse and secretly trains it.
