CMT throws its baseball cap -- or maybe it's a cowboy hat -- into the late-night TV ring with "The Josh Wolf Show. " It stars none other than Wolf himself, a comic best known for his recurring role on Comedy Central's "Chelsea Lately" and for hosting "Shark Week" programming on Discovery Channel. Wolf, who says his brand of humor is generally described as "intelligently stupid" -- a compliment, he adds -- examines pop culture and weird-but-true headlines with a celebrity panel, welcomes musical guests, and interacts with the public during out-studio segments.
