The Boy from Mercury

In 1960, 8-year-old Harry Cronin (James Hickey) struggles to deal with his father's death, finding escape in science-fiction serials. Harry begins pretending he is an alien from Mercury, sent to Earth to observe people and defeat the class bully. As he retreats further into his imaginary world, Harry's uncle, eccentric biker Tony (Tom Courtenay), and a well-off new friend, Sean McCarthy (Sean O'Flanagain), help the troubled young boy deal with his problems.
