Sweet Rosie O'Grady

Sweet Rosie O'Grady

To develop her career and better herself, burlesque performer Rosie O'Grady (Betty Grable) moves to London, becomes a star in the musical comedy circuit under the name Madeleine Marlowe and gets engaged to the Duke of Trippingham (Reginald Gardiner). However, her perfect life is ruined by a newspaper exposé from reporter Sam A. McGee (Robert Young), who uncovers her former, less glamorous identity. It turns out, though, that Sam is in love and wants more than just a good story.
