Social Genocide

Fernando Solanas focuses his lens on the political corruption and incompetence that leads to crisis in his native Argentina. Under President Carlos Menem, who ran the country for a decade, dozens of government programs are outsourced to foreign companies that provide substandard services and batter the country's economy. The documentary captures the moment when things come to a head in December 2001, and thousands take to the streets in protest.
