Paloma de Papel

In a rural town among the Peruvian Andes, 11-year-old Juan (Antonio Callirgos) chases sheep and plays with his friends, even as a vicious civil war rages on around him. When he discovers his stepfather (Aristóteles Picho) is a Marxist guerrilla solider, he's kidnapped and taken to be indoctrinated by the rebel faction, who teach him how to fire weapons and make bombs.
