Owl and the Sparrow

Ten-year-old orphan Thuy (Pham Thi Han) runs away to Saigon, Vietnam to escape the bamboo factory run by her strict uncle (Nguyen Hau), who steals the little money she makes. As she tries to survive on the street, Thuy meets Lan (Cat Ly), a beautiful stewardess stuck in an unhappy affair with a married pilot, and Hai (Le The Lu), a brokenhearted zookeeper of modest means.
