Lonnie (Sarah Boyd) a 12-year-old with a privileged life, comes from an upper-class family. When she meets Karen (Rainbow Harvest), a teen with a working-class background, Lonnie discovers an entirely different world from the one she grew up in. On the other end, Karen also learns a few things from Lonnie as their friendship develops through the course of the summer.
