Mein neuer Freund is a German television series produced for Pro 7 in 2005. It is the German adaptation of the British comedy My New Best Friend. The star of the show is Christian Ulmen who plays the "new best friends" for many candidates on the show. The British adaptation My New Best Friend comes from this series.
