Meet Me Tonight

Three short stories by Noel Coward comprise this film. In "The Red Peppers," the constant squabbling between married entertainers Lily (Kay Walsh) and George Pepper (Ted Ray) takes a turn when their co-workers begin carping, too. "Fumed Oak," the second tale, sees Henry Gow (Stanley Holloway) reach the end of his rope with his nagging wife and tyrannical mother-in-law. Finally in "Ways and Means," Stella (Valerie Hobson) and Toby Cartwright (Nigel Patrick) prove to be the guests from hell. …
