Lilac Time

A British fighter ace, Capt. Philip Blythe (Gary Cooper), falls in love with local farm girl Jeannine (Colleen Moore) while stationed in France. But the reality of combat intrudes upon the romance when Blythe is shot down by an enemy pilot (Eddie Clayton). Jeannine, who promised to wait for Blythe to return, goes in search of him when she learns that he crash landed.
