In jail for murder, tough guy Moltes (Gérard Lanvin) plays the lottery every week with the assistance of a prison guard, Francis Reggio (Benoît Poelvoorde), who values Moltes' relationship advice. When Moltes hits the jackpot, he breaks out to claim his money, only to discover that Reggio's girlfriend, Pauline (Rossy de Palma), has the ticket and has gone to Africa.
