It Happened in Brooklyn

After returning home from the war, soldier Danny Miller (Frank Sinatra) heads straight to his old stomping grounds in Brooklyn, N. Y. He's determined to attain success as a singer -- and help his friends reach their own dreams along the way. Danny moves in with old chum Nick Lombardi (Jimmy Durante) and falls head-over-heels in love with schoolteacher Anne Fielding (Kathryn Grayson). But will an upper-crust acquaintance (Peter Lawford) wreck his new romance?
