Completing the trilogy charting corruption and criminal infiltration in the Hong Kong police force, this instalment picks up the threads from the first film, with Lau Kin Ming now cleared of Chan Wing Yan's death - but still harbouring suspicions that the department is infiltrated by informers. Rapidly rising cop SP Yeung is a suspect but he also suspects Lau.
