Hustlers Convention is an album recorded by Jalal Mansur Nuriddin under the pseudonym Lightnin' Rod. The album was a major influence on hip hop music and combined poetry, funk, jazz, and toasting. Hustlers Convention helped add a sociopolitical element to black music.
