Hold Your Man

Petty crook Eddie Hall (Clark Gable) ducks into a random apartment to hide from police and ends up falling for its resident, bombshell Ruby Adams (Jean Harlow). Hall and his accomplice, Slim (Garry Owen), convince Ruby to help them con a married man. But their plan goes horribly awry and Hall flees the scene. When he finds out from an ex-con that his antics have landed Ruby in jail -- and that she's pregnant with his child -- he may have to choose between his freedom and making things right.
