Girls of the Road

During the Great Depression, governor's daughter Kay Warren (Ann Dvorak) assumes the identity of a female hobo to learn firsthand what life is like for women on the road. Kay lives in shantytowns and boxcars as she braves rain, arrest, robbery, sexual advances and other degradations.
