Sweet but ditzy Dulcy Ward (Ann Sothern) is instantly taken with inventor Gordon Daly (Ian Hunter), and she's determined to help him sell his prototype for an airplane engine. As luck would have it, Roger Forbes (Roland Young), the father of her brother's fiancée, might be in the market for such an item.
