Battle Taxi

During the Korean War, trained jet pilot Lt. Pete Stacy (Arthur Franz) is assigned to an Air Rescue Service squad due to his helicopter experience. Displeased with his assignment, the cocky Stacy does whatever he can to make the missions more exciting -- often resulting in unnecessary risks. When Lt. Col. Stoneham (Jay Barney) berates the squad's commander, Capt. Russ Edwards (Sterling Hayden), for Stacy's actions, Edwards must figure out how to change Stacy's freewheeling attitude.
