Laurelia is a genus of plant in the major group Angiosperms in the family Atherospermataceae, or formerly Monimiaceae. It contains only two species, both endemic to the southern hemisphere, an example of Gondwanan distribution. Laurelia novae-zelandiae Laurelia sempervirens
