Toluca

Toluca is the capital of Mexico's central State of Mexico. It sits at a high altitude and is known for its colonial architecture. The imposing Catedral de San José and the neoclassical Palacio Municipal overlook the main square, Plaza de los Mártires. Housed in a former marketplace, the Cosmovitral Botanical Garden has plants from around the world and dozens of stained-glass murals.
