Battle of Dertosa

The Battle of Dertosa, also known as the Battle of Ibera, was fought in the spring of 215 BC on the south bank of the Ebro River across from the town of Dertosa. A Roman army, under the command of the brothers Gnaeus and Publius Cornelius Scipio, defeated a similarly sized Carthaginian army under Hasdrubal Barca.
